First Model

I am still in the process of putting my model into some images of the site. I have to go to work now so they will be posted late tonight. Here is a quick image to tide you over.

Nice start. What materials were you thinking of? Is there an interior that shows other aspects of the filtering process? You can use the model to investigate the inside-out views as well.

I'm curious to see what's behind the glass and the screen. Is the glass part of the building itself or is it a separated layer from the main wall? I guess we'll figure it out when you get to the sections.

I like how you model fits into the context.
All the buildings in the square (with the exception of the Hancock Tower) have a top. The top of your building appears to float into the sky beyond and I think this works well for your design. I wonder what a “cloud like” top would look like?
The abstract tree forms appear a little flat to me. Maybe you could tilt them slightly. Maybe some of these could be tilted and penetrate the façade into the building. That way they could be experience on both sides.
Your model has done a nice job of helping me understand your design to a greater degree. Nice Job!
